2026 Vinyl Spins
I remember the early days of ‘scrobbling’, which would take what you were playing on WinAmp or on other players and record the artist-song-date to a database to share with strangers on the internet. Now we have this ‘year end reviews’ from all of the major streaming services. However, what about my physical media? I’m not sure how this will all shape up on my website, but I thought it would be cool to record what I’m listening to week to week.. month to month.. and update it for this year. I think I’ll store it on a separate page/post for now:

Coming soon! I was recently reminded of a favorite song that I had trouble finding years ago, but thankfully someone out there on the internet posted it to YouTube. It’s time to make another self-serving, nostalgic, romantic list of music that has been/currently is important to me.
Soundcloud: Yearly Diet Playlists
I also listen to things on SoundCloud, and when I am really connecting with a DJ mix there I put it into a playlist series that I’ve been curating for the last… many years at this point. Some years a light, some years have numerous mixes.. it all depends on what I’ve been up to in life.
Though, with my recent ‘departure’ from SoundCloud, I’m not sure how often I will be consuming mixes here. It might continue, it might dwindle in number.
