Well, the plan I had to build two keyboard tray/sliding shelves under my desk was bunk. There is a huge support beam for my ultra-wide standing desk. I love the desk, but a bit of a bummer I can’t put in a suitable shelf underneath. It wouldn’t even be able to have my keyboard on top of it. I might try to build something on the music-side of the desk later.
I’ve been listening to the songs for “While You Were Out” and getting back into the swing of things.
I re-arranged the gear on the desk. I was hoping to have that slide-shelf underneath for a new keystep, but now that I don’t have that space I may need to re-consider my options. It has been nice to have more than 1 keyboard to dedicate to various software instruments.

I’ve been working on a local web app to let me select records from my Discogs collection and post them to my website. You can see the current output on the Listening Lounge: 2026 Vinyl Spins post! I’m very happy with it so far.

Built up, and migrated to, a new NAS in the studio. The old one is getting on in years. Peace of mind is valuable.
I was working on some music tonight and began to wonder if I’m forcing myself through these songs for “While You Were Out” (another “selected works” release), and if there should be another option to charge toward closing-out this era/catalog and focusing on the next steps of my art. I’m going to sleep on it.
