In my renewed sense of creative development, I indulged myself by starting the new web design I mentioned in my last post. Unfortunately, due to some discovered shortcomings in the way Tumblr provides feeds and my severe lack of time to pour into learning the ins and outs of Tumblr, I have continued to mold my web presence around WordPress.
I’ve tweaked a bit of my WordPress experience to offer me a more fluid and appropriate web identity, pushing all things music up front and leaving everything else as peripheral for those who wish to discover more about me. This comes at a every exciting time where I hope that someone will be releasing an XAuth plugin for WordPress so I can solicit comments and interaction on my website with all of my fans on various social media sites.
What does that mean for my lust for Tumblr? Well.. the puppy-love stage is over and I’ve seen Tumblr in a new light. I still enjoy it very much and will probably flesh out some side projects using the service, but as far as a mainstay in my web life, WordPress continues to be my trustworthy and long-term companion that enables me to do great things in life.
