“A-N-I-T-E-K I-S S-I-C-K”

An incredibly talented guy, Anitek has been a refreshing source of music for me the past few days. He added me on Soundcloud, I’m assuming by way of finding my only trip-hop entry (“Aces High”).

I will continue to post his albums and works as time goes on, but for you proactive folks: Do yourself a favor and listen to the ENTIRE catalog posted on Soundcloud and you will NOT be disappointed. There’s a solid cross-cut of vinyl-made and live-instrument recorded material with turntablism, hip-hop lyrics (originals and dubbed), soul, R&B… it’s a candy shop for anyone that is a fan of this “found art” sample genre.

Between meeting folks who are passionate about their creativity and listening to the new music that has surfaced in my landscape, I’m inspired to produce at an entirely new level (and have 2 songs to show for it.. *grin* be patient, world). Not only have I found my way back to the music and feelings that inspired me to write, produce, and mix, I’ve cracked my shell wide open. While I will take everything I learned w/my experiments in house with me, I won’t find myself in that world much anymore me thinks.
